Biography
Kim Dae Gun, from Korea, graduated from Busan Arts College in 1997.
He is the founder and Artist Director of Quattro Station Dance Movement Troupe. The troupe focuses on physical theatre and dance theatre, believing in the power of simple stage design and the fundamental energy of performers in delivering theatre works of poetry and infinite imagination.

The troupe has staged Waiting (a dance theatre piece collaborate with Brazil dancer) and Flower (a physical theatre piece collaborate with HK actress) in the Macau Fringe Festival and the Korea Tongyeong Theatre Festival in 2009, and a collaborative performance 2012 with Taiwan Mobius Strip. The troupe also produced The Falling House, Traveler, To My Mother in HK and Korea.

Dae Gun also worked with many theatre and dance groups in HK. He worked with On and On theatre workshop, as movement choreographer / physical trainer / performer in Hamletmaxhine. He also performed in Y-Space dance show 2008 Air & Breath II Phenomenon which tour to Poland.

He also involved in Theatre du Pif’s production Marcovaldo (a HK City Fringe Festival programme), Y-Space produced Hong Kong History Series II: Dance in the Walled Villages (a Community Cultural Ambassador Scheme project).
DaeGun also has been teaching Physical Theatre Workshop in Macau and HK. His workshop, based on his peculiar physical trainings, has received enthusiastic feedbacks.
